As a single mom with a full-time job and two young children, I used to feel constantly overwhelmed. Parenting was my greatest source of stress. I wanted to give my kids unconditional love—but I didn’t know how.

When they didn’t meet my expectations, I got upset, even angry. It hurt to realize I was repeating the same patterns from my own childhood. I knew it wasn’t right, but I didn’t know how to change.

Everything began to shift when I was introduced to Master Yonghua and Chan meditation. After about three years of practice, I’ve experienced real transformation—especially in the past year.

Today, I feel genuinely happy in my relationship with my children. When I changed, they changed too. I now see real wisdom and compassion in the way they respond to life—and even to me.

One day, my 10-year-old told me, “Mom, you need to experience the bad things to truly appreciate the good.” That moment stayed with me.

I’m deeply grateful for this practice. It has helped me become the parent I’ve always wanted to be.

If you’re a parent struggling like I was, this practice can truly change your life.
